A
abrupt (less than 48 hours) reduction in kidney function
-increase in serum creatinine by over 26.4umol/l
-increase in creatinine by 50%
-reduction in UO
(only applied following adequate fluid resuscitation and exclusion of obstruction)

what are some risk factors (patient)
A
old age, EKD, diabetes, cardiac failure, liver disease, PVD, previous AKI

hypotension, hypovoleamia, sepsis, deteriorating NEWS, recent contrast, exposure to certain medicines
