Suspected acute cardiogenic pulmonary edema.

SBP Normotension
What are the contraindications for nitroglycerin under the ACPE MD?
- Allergy or sensitivity to nitrates.
- Phosphodiesterase inhibitor use within the previous 48 hours.
- SBP drops by one-third or more of its intial value after nitroglycerin is administered.
What is the dose for nitro under the ACPE MD for a SBP ≥100 mmHg to <140 mmHg?
Need IV or Hx

0.3 or 0.4 mg, max 0.4 mg.
Dosing interval of 5 minutes, max 6 doses.
What is the nitro dose under the ACPE MD for a SBP ≥140 mmHg without IV or Hx?
