A

Alarm point: CV3: 1 tsun above CV2, on ventral midline, 4 tsun below umbilicus

Associated point: BL28: S2

Luo BL58 7C proximal to lateral malleolus, between gastrocnemius and soleus

Sedation BL 65 proximal to 5th MTP joint

Tonification BL 67 proximal to 5th phalanx metatarsal, lateral aspect of the 5th toe

Lung Meridian Points

A

Alarm point : LU1: 1 tsun below the clavicle, medial to the apex of the coracoid process (beginning point)

Associated point: BL 13 : T3-4

Luo Point: Lu 7 (2 cun from wrist crease on radial side anterolateral)

Sedation Point: Lu 5 (elbow crease 1 cun lat to biceps tendon)

Tonification Point: Lu 9 (anterolateral palmar wrist crease)

A

Alarm point: CV12: Halfway between the umbilicus and the xyphoid.

Associated point: BL21: T12-L1

Luo Point: St 40 (8 cun proximal to lateral malleolus)

Sedation Point: St 45 (lateral nail of 2nd toe) (End point)

Tonification Point: St 41 (anterior ankle flexure)

A

Alarm point: ST25: 1.5 tsun lateral to the umbilicus bilaterally

Associated point: BL25: L4-5

Luo Point: LI 6 (3 cun proximal to wrist crease)

Sedation Point: LI 2 (radial side of index finger, distal to the base of the metacarpophalangeal joint)

Tonification Point: LI 11 (elbow crease on flexion)

A

Alarm point: LV13: At the end of the 11th rib

Associated point: BL20: T11-12

Luo point: SP4: medial aspect of the foot proximal at the base of the first metatarsal

Tonification point: SP2: medial aspect of a big toe, slightly distal to the proximal phalanx

Sedation Point: Si 8 (in fossa between olecranon and medial epicondyle of humerus)

Tonification Point: Si 3 (ulnar edge of palm crease when a fist is made)

Luo Point: K 4 (posterior to medial malleolus)

Luo Point: Cx 6 (2 cun proximal to Cx 7) (master point for abdomen)

Sedation Point: Cx 7 (middle of wrist crease between tendon of palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis)

Tonification Point: Cx 9 (in the middle of the tip of the middle finger)

Sedation Point: Th 10 (1 cun proximal to olecranon process)

Tonification Point: Th 3 (dorsum of hand proximal and ulnar to the 4th metacarpal head)

Sedation Point: Lv 2 (between 1st and 2nd metatarsophalangeal joints)

Tonification Point: Lv 8 (with patient’s knee flexed, at the medial end of the popliteal crease; bet med condyle of femur and semimembranosis)

Sedation Point: Gb 38 (4 cun proximal to lateral malleolus on ant border of fib)

Tonification Point: Gb 43 (where skin joins the fourth and fifth toes)
