Q

What is its impact on the industry?

HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT - 1974

A

The impact that this had on the industry is that a part of pre-production that always must be filled out with care are risk assessments. These must be done for every location that the crew are going to film at because different areas pose different risks and so they require different methods of prevention and different actions to minimise the risk of injury or harm. It also makes sure that equipment is checked and the crew are informed of risks and are trained on how to manage equipment in their field.
