Once the RTF needs are met and at the discretion of the Incident Commander/Operations.
In Active Shooter incidents, Hot Zone indicates?
An area that in unsecured and where there is imminent threat.
What SAFD units are trained to operate in the Hot Zone?
Only MSOU units
In Active Shooter incidents, Warm Zone indicates?
An area that has been secured by LE but still has moderate threat.
What SAFD units may operate in the Warm Zone?
RTF units.
In Active Shooter incidents, Cold Zone indicates?
An area that may be secured by LE and has low threat.
