Fitness is a condition that allows the body to effectively cope with the demands of daily activities
What are the 5 components of fitness?
Cardiorespiratory endurance, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition
define cardiorespiratory endurance
The ability to perform large muscle whole body exercises at moderate to high intensities
define flexibility
The ability of a joint or series of joints to move through an unrestricted range of motion
define muscular strength
The ability of a muscle to exert a maximal force against an object
define muscular endurance
Ability to continue contracting a muscle or group of muscle against resistance
define body composition
The percentage of fat bone and muscle in human bodies
