Scene one analysis

A

Macbeths soliloquy shows he’s changed as a person. Before, he didn’t want to kill Duncan but now he doesn’t hesitate to have Banquo and fleance killed, not even talking to l Macbeth about it. He also gets murderers to kill Banquo, he’s no longer to hero he was, he’s a coward and can’t even look at his enemy
He’s become more like lady Macbeth, attacking the murderers masculinity and telling lies to make them think Banquo is bad

Q

Analysis of scène three

A

Another murderer joins the other two, Macbeth sent him as he doesn’t trust anyone.
The setting is dark and the sun has set, this represents the darkness and terror of Macbeths reign
Duncan is carrying a torch with fleance, this is symbolic of the goodness on him, when he is killed, the torch goes out
Fleance escapes, shows fate can’t be changed and Macbeth may have been king without the need of action
