The INCITING EVENT.

The CALL TO ADVENTURE. The moment the normal world is first rocked by the conflict.
What is the fourth structure in the first act timeline?
The BUILD-UP.
What elements are found in the build-up structure?
You’ll find the final pieces for the main conflict while there’s an increase of tension.
What is the final structure in the first act timeline?
The FIRST PLOT POINT.
What are the elements found in the last structure called the first plot point?
The doorway between the end of the First Act and the beginning of the Second. Also likely to be the KEY EVENT.
