What are the 8 types of illusions in flight with related to spacial disorientation?
ICEFLAGS
I - Inversion - transition from a climb to straight and level feel like tumbling backwards.
C - Coriolis - In steady turn and move your head. Dizzying.
E - Elevator - Updraft feels like a climb
F - False Horizon - something else looks like the horizon
L - Leans - slow enter into imperceptible turn, then that feels level.
A - Autokinesis - stare at a light and it starts to move.
G - Graveyard spin/spiral - Start with the leans but loose altitude, try to recover in a bank and makes the situation worse.
S - Somatogravic Illusion - Acceleration feels like a climb

What are the types of Fog?
Radiation - (ground fog) low flat surfaces on calm nights
Advection - low layer of moist warm air blows over
Upslope - Warm stable air is forces upslope to saturation
Evaporation - Steam fog (lake), Frontal (rain)
Ice - Sublimates into ice crystals. Low wind
To maintain currency for IFR flights you need to do what?
