Link Autonomy and accomplishment
When choices are present, the environment facilitates autonomy which can support accomplishments
Intervention with autonomy: support and suppression
Perceived choice has the highest, interest was second, and pressure was the lowest.
This means that students were more likely to do something if they had a percieved choice than if they were pressured etc.
Grit
Perseverance and passion for long-term goals, helps in predicting achievement
Goal setting and Grit
Setting a doable goal but where there are small failures along the way but ultimately is achieved helps build grit
