ligamentous attachments of spleen
Gastrosplenic-Stomach to spleen (part of GO)
splenorenal: attaches spleen to kidney and body wall
inferior part of spleen rests on phrenicocolic ligament

can cause obstruction of bile duct—>GB enlargement—>retention of bile and secondary jaundice
Subphrenic recess
extensions of greater sac b/w anterior liver and diaphragm
bounded deeply and posteriorly by the the coronary lig
divided into R and L by the falciform ligament
Hepatorenal recess
extension of the greater sac b/w the visceral surface of the liver and kidney
bounded superiorly by the posterior coronary ligament
**where fluid often accumulates, esp if prone
drain just below 12th rib
aberrant L hepatic a.
arises from the L gastric a.
aberrant R hepatic a.
arises from the SMA
referred pain from the gallbladder
initially resides in the epigastric region
shifts to the T8-9 dermatomes due to inflammation of surrounding peritoneum
may also refer to the C3-5 dermatomes
