A

What are the 4 parts of the pancreas

A
  1. Head (uncinate process) embraced by duod, post is SMA, Ant: IVC, R renal AV
  2. Neck - short and ant to portal vein where Spl and SMV join
  3. Body - left of SMA/V, passes aorta at L2
  4. Tail - ant to L kid, mobile, tip at spleen hilum

  2. Accessory (Duct of Santori) - to minor papillae above main

A

RUQ, R7-11, Enclosed by Dia on sup side. Dia surface is convex while visceral is Concave. Divided by falciform ligament to right and left lobe and all is covered by peritoneum.
