17
Q

ATCS DEGRADED (C)
Automatic thrust control function loses capability.

A

Ground: MX required to clear fault.
T/O: Abort before V1
In flight: FADEC reset / limit outboard engine HP to 50%

18
Q

AUX HYD PUMP PRESS LO(C)
Pressure < 1000PSI

A

May be an indication of pump cavitation during high altitude operation.
If cavitation persists reduce altitude, and aux pump off as soon as possible.

19
Q

CGO A/C SHUTDOWN (C)

A

A/C shutdown for the water separator overpressure limits and the flow control valve is closed.
Setting a warmer temperature may resolve the issue.

20
Q

CAB DIFF PRESS HIGH (C)
Pressure exceeds safety valve limits

A

A/C Packs off. UNDERFLOOR switch - fan.
Emergency manual pressurization control - accomplish.

21
Q

EGI 1 FAIL (C)

A

CNI lost communication with respective EGI.
Select alternate navigation solution on the NAV SELECT page on the AMU.

22
Q

EMER BRAKES FAIL (C)
Aux pump on for 5s and pressure <1000psi

A

Monitor emergency brake pressure.
EMER BRAKE SEL switch - Normal

23
Q

ENG 1 A/I VLV FAIL (C)
Anti-ice valve position does not match commanded position.

A

FADEC - reset
If system is on when condition permit
ENG Ice Protection switch - off
FADEC - reset

24
Q

ENG 1 MGT HI (C)

A

ENG MGT is above 833C with NG>72%.
On Ground: ENGINE START switch - STOP
In flight: Power lever (affected engine) - reduce
If below 852 continued engine operation is permissible.

25
GEN 1 FAIL (C)
GENERATOR SWITCH - OFF/RESET then ON If ACAWS reoccurs - GEN SWITCH - OFF Can continue flight with three generators.
26
Engine Surge Recovery Procedure
27
PROP 1 LO PITCH STOP FAIL (W) Propeller can enter ground or reverse range in flight if the primary propeller governing fails.
FIRE handle - Pull ENGINE START switch - STOP Engine shutdown procedure - accomplish Do not attempt a restart.
28
P AUTOPILOT FAIL (C)
Copilot autopilot, flight director and autothrottle - Select (as required)
29
Fuel Latching Indications
Unresponsive power lever and NG approx. 70-75% Engine restart may be attempted.
30
FADEC 1 A & B FAIL (C)
In flight: Fire handle - Pull Engine Start switch - Stop FADEC - RESET If ACAWS clears attempt restart.
31
HEADING MISCOMPARE (C) INU 1&2 differ by more than 2 degrees
SHIP Solution INAV - Select ONAV 1 or 2 -Select INAV source with most accurate INS heading.
32
ICS FAIL (C)
GHC radio - Override
33
INU 1 FAIL (C)
ATT REF INU - Change to alternate source Ship Solution INAV - Select alternate source (as required) In-flight alignment may be attempted to recover the system.
34
L AC BUS OFF* (C)
Generator switch (#1) - Off If ACAWS doesn't clear: Generator switch - DO NOT turn ON Fault log - Review
35
L/R EXT TK HEAVY (C) >1000 lbs difference between external tanks
Fuel balance - Restore
36
L/R GEAR NOT DOWN/UP (C) Gear does not indicate down/up within 20s of lever actuation.
Landing Gear - Check Applicable landing gear system failure procedure - Accomplish
37
Transfer pump failures...
38
NG 1 OVRSPEED (C) Gas generator speed is above 103% for more than 2 seconds
Power Lever - Retard towards flight idle If it does not clear shutdown engine.
39
NIU 1 FAIL (C)
If ACAWS doesnt clear: Engine - continue normal operation Engine anti-icing turned on automatically Oil cooler flaps - operate manually
40
PROP 1 CNTL LOST (C) Propeller control is loast as determined by the FADEC. Red FAIL message under the HP display.
Fire handle - Pull Engine Start switch - Stop Do not attempt restart. Engine Shutdown Procedure - Accomplish
41
PROP 1 NO 119% PROTECT (C) NP overspeed automatic shutdown may not be available. This occurs during ground start if NP is not 0%.
Fire handle - Pull Engine Start switch - Stop Do not attempt restart. Engine Shutdown Procedure - Accomplish
42
PROP 1 NO BETA CNTL (C) Propeller cannot enter BETA mode from flight mode.
In flight: Propeller operation is normal. FADEC - RESET If ACWAS clears - resume normal operation If not
