Police relationships
*Police work with courts to give evidence and ensure defendant make it to court.
*Work with probation of the offender after custody.
*Work with CPS to charge offenders
*Works with the forensics team to uncover evidence
CPS relationships
Advise the Police on charging suspects, work with Magistrates to check the suitability of bai prior to a trial.
Judge relationships
- ensure the trial is conducted falsely and explain relevant law to the jury
- work with the CPS to hear prosecution evidence
- work with the prisons to sentence a criminal and oversee probation (especially if failed).
Jury relationships
*Hear from both the prosecution and defence.
* Legal knowledge applied by the Judge.
* Sentencing guidelines to determine whether a defendant should be charged guilty.
Prison relationships
- Defendants who have been denied bail will be remanded in prison
- Works with probation services when a prisoner is to be released.
- work with the parole board and rehabilitation companies.
Pathologist relationships
- Provide unbiased opinions for the police, lawyers, judges, jury and courts.
- Examine the evidence found at the scene which the police had cordoned off.
CSI relationships
Provide evidence in court to a magistrate or to the jury to either prove an offender’s guilt or innocence.
