Panic Disorder
A person experiences recurrent, sudden onsets of intense terror, often without warning or specific cause. Can produce severe palpitations, extreme shortness of breath, chest pains, trembling, sweating, dizziness, and a feeling of helplessness.
May feel like they are having a heart attack or are about to die.
Personality Disorders
Chronic, maladaptive cognitive-behavioral patterns that are thoroughly integrated into an individual’s personality.
