Explain Ablative of Measure of Difference

A

Used with comps. and superls. Use quam except where words are directly compared using comp. adj. in which case use Abl. Of Comparison. Often use such words: hoc=by this much, quo=by which, quanto=by how much, paulo=by a little, multo=by much, nihilo=by nothing, dimidio=by half, tanto=by so much, eo=by that much etc.
