Group 2 responses are incidents classified as modified responses requiring the response of single unit or multiple units . Units responding 1 st due shall respond in emergency mode . This responses are

CLASS J 1900-0700 Box assignment ( first due units in emergency mode )

Group 1 response are classified as modified single unit emergencies and assigned as single unit responses. Units would operate in 10-20 mode. they are
Water leaks
ERS NO CONTACT(2300 to 0800)
Lock-ins (no reported food on the stove or other associated emergency)
Tress down ( no wires , buildings or vehicles affected )
Salvage truck

Emergency mode defined as
An emergency vehicle responds with all appropriate warning devices operated and displayed
Signal 10-20
Responding units are proceed at reduced speeds . No warning devices are to be Used and all traffic regulations are to be observed . Under modified response units other than 1st due will respond without the use of lights and sirens in 10-20 mode
Upon arrival to incident units will use emerge ny lights to define fire lines and create a safe operating area
Class J response between 0700-1900
Single unit engine or truck emergency mode
