Between 8 KTS and V1, a RTO is recommended for items such as:
- Engine Failure
- Aircraft aural fire warning.
- Predictive windshear
- “RETARD” auto callout
- Perception the aircraft is unsafe or
unable to fly.
RTO- Above 80 KTS, it is NOT recommended to reject solely for nose gear vibration or an ECAM, except for the following ECAM warnings or cautions that are not inhibited during TO:
- Any RED ECAM Warning.
The following Amber cautions:
- F/CTL. SIDESTICK FAULT
- ENG. 1(2) FAIL
- ENG. REVERSER FAULT
- ENG. REVERSE UNLOCKED
- ENG. 1(2) THR LEVER FAULT
