what is a holistic approach
A holistic approach takes account of a person’s wider needs (physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual) and seeks to meet these needs to promote health and wellbeing.

being viewed as a whole person and ni=ot a medical problem
disadvantages of holistic approach
most people only want their particular symptom or disease treated
doctors don’t look for other issues during diagnosis health and social workers are not skilled to manage all aspects of individuals needs
