WRT MFD System Menu: What does FMS 1 mean when displayed on the Capt’s side?
Normal configuration: FMC-A provides data for FMS 1. Normally displayed on the Captain’s side.
WRT MFD System Menu: What does FMS 1-C mean when displayed on the Capt’s side?
Abnormal configuration: FMC-C provides data for FMS 1.
WRT MFD System Menu: What does FMS 2 mean when displayed on the Capt’s side?
Abnormal Configuration: The flight crew has selected BOTH ON 2 on the
FMS Source Select Switch. FMC-B provides data for FMS 2, and the data
from side 2 is displayed on side 1.

Abnormal Configuration: The flight crew has selected BOTH ON 2 on the
FMS Source Select Switch. FMC-C provides data for FMS 2, and the data

ATC COM. This message is removed when the flight crew accesses an ATC COM page. - ATIS SYS MSG:
Indicates that a ATIS FSM message is received, and the MFD displays an application other than
ATC COM. This message is removed when the flight crew accesses an ATC COM page. - CHECK FMS MESSAGE (amber):
Indicates that an amber FMS message is pending, and the MFD displays an application other than FMS. This message is removed when the flight crew accesses an FMS page.
When would the MFD message NEW ATIS RECEIVED appear in the System Message Area at the top of the MFD’s?
