Chest cavity expands , an area of low pressure is created. Higher pressure air from the atmosphere rushes into lungs
Exhale?
When the chest cavity contracts the air in the lungs is squeezed, so the pressure in the lungs increases. This makes air rush out of the lungs
What 2 muscles make the chest cavity bigger?
The muscles between the ribs , which move the rib cage up and down

A sheet of muscle in the lower chest that moves downward as you inhale

Clogged or swollen pathways affect natural system as well as constructed systems
Bacteria, viruses, and other micro organisms can also cause infection
Breathing in smoke, polluted air, coal dust, or asbestos can be harmful to ur respiratory system

A disease of the respiratory system interfere with the normal flow of air into the lungs
