A pressure supply line tees off engine bleed air line forward of firewall and flow control unit. What does it supply pneumatic pressure for?
Surface deice, rudder boost, door seal, brake deice, flight hour meter
An ejector changes bleed air line pressure to a vacuum to operate what?
Gyro instruments, pressurisation controller, and outflow and safety valves
What will the effects of a blocked Py line be?
How will this affect normal flight?
Py connects Fuel Topping Governor to FCU, so renders FTG totally inoperative. (And also the over-torque limiter).
No effect on normal flight unless PPG and OSG failed. In the event of using Maximum Reverse and with some mis-rigging of the engine controls, then there is a chance the FTG would activate. But since this is “your next NORMAL flight” that won’t be happening.
