The 9/11 was a terrorist attack organised by the al-Qaeda.
It occurred on the 11th of September, 2001.
Four airplanes were hijacked by members of the al-Qaeda.
The first airplane crashed into the North Building of the World Trade Center.

The second airplane crashed into the South Building of the World Trade Center.

The third airplane crashed into the Pentagon AKA the headquarters of the US Department of Defense.

In the last airplane, passengers managed to regain control of it and crash-landed it onto a field in Pennsylvania.

Approximately 3000 people were killed after the event.
CONSEQUENCES
- Homeland Security was Formed
- Muslims were discriminated and harassed because people thought of them as terrorists.
