- how many mac address allowed on a port

Shutdown, protect, restrict

Violation - Shutdown does ?
A
- Set by default is Shutdown - this will bring the interface down into a err-disable state - this has syslog message

Violation - Protect does ?
A
- this will stop the violation but will not shutdown the port - it shy so it will not give syslog message

- this is the same as protect it will stop violations - but it will give you syslog messages
