Aphasia is a language impairment:
Difficulty finding words and constructing sentences
Difficulty understanding words and sentences
Difficulties can be with spoken and/or written language

1/3 of people who survive a stroke will have aphasia

Aphasia is different for different people

A stroke can also affect mobility -commonly limits the use of the right hand and arm
