What is Gestalt theory?
- Not just the components, but the way they fit together
Stroboscopic movement
Stereopsis-
Interposition
What is stroboscopic movement?
almost like stop-motion. Example of apparent movement. The things aren’t actually moving but it looks like it is bc you’re watching the images in quick succession
What is stereopsis?
when we use 2 eyes to create depth. We have slightly different images coming from each eye. When these images are put together we can interpret depth
What is interposition?
Things look smaller when they are further away
