Place fabric under the presser foot.
(keeps the fabric flat so that it does not rise and fall with the needle and pucker as it is stitched.)

Check the thread take-up lever to see if it is all the way up.
(It pulls the top thread up and down to create a stitch with the bobbin thread. )

Presser foot DOWN. the part that holds the fabric down)

A
Stitch, reverse, stitch to the end, reverse, stitch.

Check the thread take-up lever to see if it is all the way up.

Presser foot up.

Remove fabric and Clip threads. (by cutting it)
