Treatment of scarlet fever
Phenoxymethylpenicillin
Warfarin management, patient has raised INR but is not bleeding, what should you do?
Stop warfarin
Give vit K orally
What type of drug is indapemide?
Thiazide diuretic
What can indapemide cause?
Hyponatraemia
GTN guidance regarding acute chest pain
1st dose
5 minutes until 2nd
Call ambulance if not resolved after another 5 minutes
(10 minutes total!)
Which drug, alongside morphine can contribute to respiratory depression?
Lorazepam (benzodiazepines)
How many times a day should ramipril be taken?
Once a day

How much fluid for a childs fluid bolus?
<10 minutes
20ml/kg
Maintenance fluids for children
First 10kg = 100ml/kg/day
2nd 10kg = 50
Anything after = 20ml/kg!
When commencing ramipril, what should be checked in 1-2 weeks?
Renal function (HAM CHU!) Basically need U&E checking with creatinine and urea
