The object that recieves the action of the verb

The object (mostly a person) that recieves the object that recieved the action of the verb
What is an ION
Indirect Object Noun, which can be grammatically replaced by the Indirect Object Pronoun
What is an IOP?
Indirect Object Pronoun, replacing the Indirect Object Noun
What is grammatically required?
The IOP: The ION is not technically grammatically required in a sentence, but is used for clarification.
