symptoms during pregnancy?
- Nausea and vomiting → small and frequent meals, antiemetics as needed.
- GERD → avoid lying down after meals, antacids as needed.
- Constipation → adequate fluid intake, stool softeners, laxatives if severe.
- Hemorrhoids → rest with elevation of the legs, avoid constipation.
- Leg cramps → stretching, physical activity, vitamin D supplements.
- Back pain → avoid heavy lifting, adjust physical activity, special pillows.
what is the nutrition required for pregnant women?
Normal pregnancy requires an increase in daily caloric intake of at least 300 kcal.
what are the contraindications of exercise during pregnancy?
evidence of IUGR, persistent vaginal bleeding, incompetent cervix, risk factors for preterm labor, rupture of membranes, pregnancy-induced hypertension/preeclampsia/eclampsia

- Up to 28 gestational weeks → visit every 4 weeks.
- Starting at 28 gestational weeks up to 36 gestational weeks → visit every 2 weeks.
- From term (37 gestational weeks) to delivery → weekly visit.
