  • Reported = over 7-day worker incapacitation of worker – must be reported within 15-days.
  • Non-fatal accidents to non-workers taken to hospital following injury.
  • Dangerous occurrences – 27 near-miss events i.e. scaffold collapse, explosion, fire etc.
  • Gas incidents – died, lost consciousness or taken to hospital.
  • Occupational disease i.e. carpal tunnel syndrome, cancer, asthma etc.

  • Requires prohibition of asbestos, control of asbestos at work and asbestos likening.
  • Three Different types – Chrysotile, Amosite, Crocidolite.
  • Found on site – works stop, asbestos survey, risk assessment, decide safe to continue.
  • Asbestos can be – treated, repaired or removed.
  • Asbestos removal licence required if of medium or large scale / needs to be broken.
