- Biological only if there are other conditions co-morbid

- Vomiting

- Hypokalaemia (v. important as they vom a lot)
- Mallord-Weiss tears (after vomming)

- Calluses on the back of hand (Russel’s sign)

- Family/environmental issues - overclose parents, narcissistic parents
