Voice callout - “Cabin Altitude”
- Main OXYGEN Lever - Confirm ON
- Crew oxygen masks - on
5.3.3 Pitch Trim Runaway
GO TO QRH>Warnings>Pitch Trim Runaway
Voice callout - “Trim Runaway”
- TRIM INTERRUPT Switch - INTR
5.3.4 Fire, Smoke, or Fumes in the Cockpit
GO TO QRH>General Emergencies>Fire, Smoke, or Fumes>Fire, Smoke, or Fumes in Cockpit/Cabin
- Main OXYGEN Lever - Confirm ON
- Crew Oxygen masks and smoke goggles (If Equipped) - on
- Crew Oxygen - EMGCY
If Smoke Goggles Worn:
a. Vent Valve - OPEN
5.3.5 Engine Failure In Flight - Total Power Loss
GO TO QRH>General Emergencies>Engine Failure>Engine Failure in Flight – Total Power Loss
- Autopilot - Use SPD (Best Glide Speed) and HDG/T or NAV mode
- PCL - Idle
- Condition Lever - Cutoff/Feather
5.3.6 Engine Failure After Rotation - Landing Gear Down
GO TO QRH>General Emergencies>Engine Failure>Engine Failure After Rotation – Landing Gear Down
If Altitude is Not Sufficient to Select a Runway or Field
- Aircraft - Land Straight Ahead, turning only to avoid obstructions (maximum recommended bank angle 30° L/R)
- Flaps - 40°
- Final Approach speed (10,450lbs) - 88 KIAS, AOA Centered
- PCL - Idle
- Condition Lever - Cutoff/Feather
- FUEL EMRG Shut Off - Press Latch Down and Pull Lever Up
5.3.7 Engine Failure after rotation - Landing gear up
GO TO QRH>General Emergencies>Engine Failure>Engine Failure After Rotation – Landing Gear Up
- Landing Gear - Down, if landing site allows, otherwise keep landing gear up
- Flaps - 40°
- Final Approach speed for 10,450lbs, Not below DSB (1.3 Vs) - 101 KIAS Flaps 15°
91 KIAS Flaps 30°
88 KIAS Flaps 40° - PCL - Idle
- Condition Lever - Cutoff/Feather
- FUEL EMERG shutoff - Press latch down and pull lever
5.3.7 Maximum Rate Descent
GO TO QRH>General Emergencies>Emergency Descent>Maximum Rate Descent
- PCL - Idle
- Landing Gear - Below 180 KIAS, down
- Airspeed - Mmo/Vmo
5.3.8 Inadvertent Pusher Operation
GO TO QRH>General Emergencies>Pusher/Shaker>Inadvertent Pusher Operation
- Control Wheel - Hold against pusher action
