What is the role of an OC body?
Ensuring death is certified by a doctor using the deceased person certificate.
Maintaining security and continuity of the body, samples and exhibits from the scene to the PM.

What is the role of the OC Exhibits regarding each exhibit?
The Oc exhibits maintains an awareness of the significance of each exhibit and what examinations may be available.
The Oc exhibits will determine, plan and record the examination and interrogation of every exhibit and establish its relevance to the investigation.
What are the duties of the File manager?
Assist with establishing and maintaining the investigation headquarters.
Operate the paper flow and associated structure in accordance with the crime document management system.
Manage the electronic and physical files relating to the investigation.
Support 2IC by reading all documents for the purposes of highlighting important information to 2IC.
Assist 2IC with the ID and recording of evidential material.
Complete a synopsis of all documents received, excluding documents relating to covert policing activities.
Ensure a flow of information throughout the investigation.
Assist with the preparation of the prosecution file.
Assist with management of the trial.
What is the role of the Oc suspects?
Obtaining information about suspects and persons of interest, as they are identified by the Oc investigation.
Thoroughly profiling and investigating all suspects and persons of interest to enable the OC investigation to establish their involvement in the offence or eliminate them from the inquiry.
Seeing evidence cover all ingredients of the offence.
Mitigating and dealing with possible offences that may be raised, where appropriate.
