4. Closing JCN Flashcards
Closing JCN Process
When JCNs are cancelled, the work center is saying the job is done/cancelled and that all outstanding requisitions have either been received or no longer necessary. Prior to closing a JCN ensure that all outstanding parts have been either received or cancelled. If there are parts that haven’t been received the RPPO or W/c SUP needs to advise supply support of their intention to close the job and wait until cancellation confirmation is received from the current requisition holder. A daily report is conducted by S1 for Closed JCN’s any closed JCN without a valid reason (i.e. CANNAB, OSO, CMTD) will have a cancellation request sent without notification to WC or RPPO. For jobs closed with outstanding parts on MoV the department head must sign a memo explaining why parts are still required.
