What is a Casrep?
A
CASREP stands for Casualty Report and is type of Naval Message, not a form of requisition. RPPO or WC must notify S1 that a CASREP is being processed for a part that is ordered as soon as part is ordered in OMMS-NG so the part is not released as a standard request. If the part is stocked and on board no CASREP will be conducted order part as normal and have either DCP or DH approve JCN in OMMS for request to go to R-Supply and be issued.
