LNAV on T/O bank angle limit
A
Lnav engages at 50 ft but limits bank angle to 15 deg until 200 ft. Thereafter the normal 30 deg
(on FEB to FEQ the limit is 8 deg BA)

When does the FMC transition to “on approach”?
A
When the airplane is within:
* 2 NM of the first app waypoint or
* 2000 feet of the airport elev, whichever
occurs first

When the FMC is “on approach”, the following three features are available:
A
- UNABLE RNP alerting levels are higher
- setting MAA and MCP is set at least 300 feet
above current altitude, VNAV remains in
VNAV PATH - if more than 200 feet below the path, VNAV
commands zero V/S until intercepting the
path

Diff in LNAV engagement between single channel FD GA and dual channel auto GA

Single channel- engages at 50 feet
Dual channel- initially track hold function and then at LNAV engages at 400 feet
