3.8.1 AC Power Supplies - Operating
One Standby diesel generator shall be FUNCTIONAL
APPLICABILITY: MODES 1 - 5
ACTIONS
A. Fuel volume in required tank ≤ 55,000 gal, restore fuel volume within 14 days
B. Required fuel transfer pump not FUNCTIONAL OR Required Standby Diesel Generator not FUNCTIONAL for reasons other than A, Restore to FUNCTIONAL within 14 days.
3.8.2 AC Power Supplies - RCS Open
Following supplies FUNCTIONAL to support RNS operation:
a. One offsite circuit
b. One standby diesel generator
APPLICABILITY: MODE 5 with RCS open, MODE 6 with upper internals installed, MODE 6 with < 23 feet above the flange
ACTIONS
A. One required AC power supply not functional
A.1 Initiate actions to increase water inventory above the core within 12 hours AND
A.2 Restore required AC power supply to FUNCTIONAL within 72 hours.
3.8.3 AC Power Supplies - Long Term Shutdown
One Ancillary diesel generator shall be FUNCTIONAL
APPLICABILITY: MODES 1 - 6 AND When irradiated fuel assemblies are stored in the SFP
ACTIONS
A. Fuel volume in ancillary diesel generator fuel tank ≤ 600 gal, restore within 14 days
B. Required ancillary diesel generator not FUNCTIONAL, restore within 14 days.
3.8.4 Non Class 1E DC and UPS System (EDS)
Power to DAS automatic actuation functions shall be FUNCTIONAL
APPLICABILITY: Per Table
