What are the 4 types of Hypoxia?
[FAA CAMI]
Hypoxic - Partial Pressure of O2 not sufficient
Hypemic - Reduction in blood’s ability to transport O2 (Carbon Monoxide CO)
Histotoxic - Tissues can not use the O2 carried by the blood (Alcohol)
Stagnant - Circulation of blood insufficient
What is Hyperventilation?
[FAA CAMI]
An imbalance of CO and O2 in the blood. Can create localized hypoxia in the brain

[FAA CAMI]
Lung Damage
What is the FOM policy on scuba diving?
