- Sewage systems were built for the flats
- By 2015 72 new trains were introduced
- Platforms were raised to reduce deaths by following on the platform
Why do people in Dharavi not like vision Mumbai?
- Many improve slum improvement to demolition of the slums
- New 14 storey apartments have split communities
- Rents in apartments cost more than in the slums
- Small recycling workshops would have to move or shut down

Very good - people don’t have to use private cars to travel around the city - improves commuting times and leads to better air quality
What is waste disposal like in a sustainable city?
Waste recycled so city doesn’t end up dumping problems in other areas. Waste disposal doesn’t cause pollution
What is water supply like in a sustainable city?
Good - everyone can get good water supply
