FIRE DETECT

Indication: CAS caution - Fire detector
Condition: A fault in the fire detection system has occurred

A

ON GROUND

  1. Engine - Do not start or shutdown
  2. Maintenance is required

IN FLIGHT

  1. Engine - Check Indications
  2. Land as soon as practical

ENGINE FIRE

Indication: CAS warning - Engine Fire and callout “FIRE”, possible smokes

A

ON GROUND

  1. PCL - idle
  2. Condition lever - CUT-OFF/FEATHER
  3. ACS EMER shutoff - PULL
  4. FUEL EMERG shotoff - latch down pull up
  5. Radio - EMGCY call
  6. MASTER POWER - off
  7. Parking brake - OFF
  8. Evacuate
  9. extinguish

IN FLIGHT

  1. Engine power - Reduce to minimum acceptable
  2. ACS EMGCY shutoff - pull
  3. Main oxy lever - conffirm ON
  4. Crew oxy masks - ON (Follow procedures to don the masks)
  5. crew oxy - EMGCY
  6. PAX OXY - ON
  7. MFD PAX OXY - Confirm ON
  8. Pax - instruct don masks
  9. Aircraft - check fire

if confirmed that fire exists

a. FUEL EMGCY shutoff - latch down pull up
b. Condition Lever - CUT-OFF/FEATHER

if smoke evacuation is required

a. ACS EMERGCY shutoff - PULL
b. CABIN PRESSURE - DUMP

when cabin differencias is zero

c. DV WINDOW - OPEN
d. FAN VENT - LOW

  1. MAIN OXY LEVER - confirm ON
  2. CREW OXY MASK - ON
  3. CREW OXY - EMGCY
  4. PAX OXY - ON
  5. MFD PAX OXY - CONFIRM ON
  6. PAX - INSTRUC DON MAKS
  7. Iniciate descente to below 10.000FT or MSA
  8. Proceed to the nearest airfield

if smoke evacuation is required

a. ACS EMER shut off - Pull
b. CABIN PRESS - Dump

when cabin pressure difference is zero

c. DV Windon - Open
d. Vent fans - low
