gives opportunity to make ATP

How does oxygen enter the body?
- breathe in through diaphragm (75%)
- creates vacuum in lungs
pressure decreases, volume increases - oxygen gets to lungs from blood stream

What kinds of names are there for drugs?
chemical, generic, proprietary or brand name
dosage
amount patient takes for desired effect
What factors do pharmacists consider about patients?
route of administration, weight of patient, overall security of condition, age, diet
