How does niche partitioning effect a population?

A

It shows what the species share in common for when they eat, what they eat, and how they eat it in a certain area.

Q

What would happen if you changed the species in a niche into an area with two times the amount of species?

A

I think that if you were to put a species into an area with more species there would be less competition because there would be more food for everyone and it could also maintain the same partitioning if the population were to grow two times to fit the new area’s food amount.
