What is external fertilization?
Fertilization that occurs outside the female body. Egg cells are released outside the female body in which are in turn are fertilized by sperm cells released outside the male body.
What is internal fertilization?
Fertilization that occurs within the female body. Involves mating, copulation or intercourse.
What are modes of reproduction?
oviparity, ovoviparity/ovoviviparity, and viviparity
