Q

Name one strength (3/4) Clue = Gaps

A

They fill in gaps in service provision where the statutory sector fails. Q

Name one weakness (1/4) Clue = Accountability

A

They lack accountability as they are subject to less public scrutiny and so are less accountable for their actions, unlike services in the statutory sector. Any unsatisfactory practice is less likely to be spotted and rectified on this sector as the public are less likely to complain about them as they are seen as charitable.
