They help regulate practice by ensuring that all service providers are providing the same level of care. Policies can also be used as a point of reference for service providers to lack back on to check what should and shouldn’t be done, therefore increasing standards of care.
Explain the Staff Training Policy
It ensures that all staff are properly qualified to carry out their responsibilities and are aware of any changes and developments with practices as well as the roles of each of their co - workers, which will improve team working.

Information will only be shared with the appropriate personnel and withheld from others in respect of the service user. They must be consulted before information about them is shared. Therefore making service users feel safe and in control of their care.
