3) The Eternal Student Flashcards
🎁
Life itself is your teacher, and you are in a constant state of learning.
Why shouldn’t I say I’ve reached the top?
Once I say I’ve reached the top, then there is nowhere to go but down.
Instead, be an eternal student.
What is an eternal student?
Being always open to new ideas, new possibilities, new directions, and new growth.
What’s the best way to start off digging into an experience?
How did I FEEL? Engaged or bored? Energised or flat?
How to identify b/w ego and soul?
- If decisions come from a place of ‘should’ (most of the time)
- Being overly interested in how I am perceived.
When is the beginning of really seeing (self-actualisation)?
Understanding my fears.
What is the enemy of development?
Pain phobia - The unwillingness to do a tiny bit of suffering.
What should I do if I am going to berate myself for my weaknesses?
I must balance by celebrating my strengths.
Every weakness has a strength attached, and every strength has a weakness attached.
Or I could just not make either good or bad and instead be with what is and keep moving forward to balance.
What does this show us about problems and answers?
3 + x = 10
We shall find truth when we examine to problem. The problem is never apart from the answer; the problem is the answer.
Ultimately, the greatest help is self help. There is no other help.
What is self help?
I am the only one who can help myself. Even in asking for someone else’s help, I’m helping myself.
