Lucban in honor of SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR, the Patron Saint of
Farmers.
PAHIYAS Festival
This festival happens every month of
August at Perez Park infront of the Quezon Provincial Capitol in
Lucena City.
NIYOGYUGAN FESTIVAL
This festival coincides with
the Mauban town fiesta every 15th of July in honor of Saint
Buenaventure, Patron Saint of Mauban. It is held to showcase the
locally- fermented “LAMBANOG” and unique cuisines of the town.
MAUBANOG FESTIVAL
- Miguel Lopez de Legaspi, discovered the island in 1569. Gold
sediments in the streams led the Spaniards to christen the island “Mina de Oro” or
“Gold Mine,” but that didn’t pan out to any great extent.
Mindoro Occidental
The island is sole home to the tamaraw, a wild relative of the
carabao, or water buffalo, with horns that grow up in a V instead of curving in. Exotic
birds and butterflies also abound.
Mindoro Oriental
- It has considerable mineral resources, but a disastrous leak of mine
tailings in 1996 forced the closure of the copper mines
Marinduque
- The province is famous for its marble quarries and marble products. It
also produces wood and wood products, and agricultural products and fish.
Romblon
- Its capital and only city is Puerto Princesa. is an archipelagic province of
the Philippines that is located in the region of Mimaropa. It is the largest province in
the country in terms of total area of jurisdiction
Palawan
