List the go-around criteria.
- Final checks not complete or approach too steep or shallow by 200ft.
- Instructed to by ATC/QFI.
- Not satisfied with the approach.
- Dangerous balloon or touch down with less than 4000ft remaining.
- Greater than 45 degrees AoB on base.
- Runway not clear or clearance not received by 200ft.
- An āSā turn is required to capture centerline (outside markers or edge lights).
- Not aligned with runway by 350ft (day) or 400ft (night).
- Traffic confliction exists or loss of visual contact with preceding traffic.
- Speed stabalised below threshold speed.

What are the departure restrictions for solo ops?
- No max. angle climb take-offs.
- No max. angle climbs under 3000ft AGL.
- No practice EFATO.

- Standard initial and pitch (normal or flapless).
- High-key provided less than 3 aircraft in circuit.
- IAP if required due weather.

Once a Restricted Instrument Rating is issued, what are the weather limitations for solo ops?
- Standard alternate minima requirements
- More than SCT below 2000ft AGL or cloud base at MSA/LSALT + 500ft
- Visibility < 5km
Note: If any of these conditions are INTER, operations within the PTA may still be authorised. If any of these conditions are TEMPO, operations will not be authorised.

- Ceiling not less than 1500ft.
- Visibility greater than 5km.
Note: If weather is below VMC, an instrument approach should be conducted instead.

What should a solo trainee do in the event of an engine failure?
Pre-AHT: Track to High Key for the duty runway. Low Key must be achieved by 2000ft AGL gear down and locked.
Post-AHT: Achieve left or right low key for the duty runway by 2000ft AGL gear down and locked.
