How do we control water levels?
We sweat or urinate to get rid of water or drink if we need water
How do we control ion content?
We lose ions in our sweat or urine and gain them in food or water
How do we control our temperature?
Our blood runs closer to the skin if we are too hot to allow our organs to cool down and the heat to escape. Our blood runs closer to the organs if we are too cold to keep the organs warm
Why is it important that our temperature remains constant?
Otherwise the enzymes in our body will denature and not work
